Image of Tsukuba city The symbol bird of Tsukuba city is owl.
Since owl is a philosopher in forest, we think that the owl is suitable for science city Tsukuba. There are some unique sculptures of owl in Tsukuba city. We will introduce those sculptures as one of images of Tsukuba. This sculpture is named as owl family of eight. We can see one big owl and four child owls. Where are others? The other owls are behind of the big owl. In next time, we will show you others.  |

Science city Tsukuba has lots of research institutes, two Universities, and company research centers. There are so many nationalities in there. If you have a chance to visit Japan, please visit our science city. We believe that your family can spend happy hour in our hometown as well as this owl family.   |

Spring has come in Tsukuba Spring has come in Tsukuba-city.
We can see beautiful cherry blossoms in our city. Please come to see them in Tsukuba.    |
